So far my senior year has been going pretty smoothly. Sports haven’t been too bad, and my school work is actually being taken cared of. Let’s see how much longer I can keep this up though, because I am one to get lazy later on. As of right now I currently am on pace to graduate. I made sure to take all my necessary classes early on so that I wouldn’t have to worry about taking them later. All of the classes that I have taken are also completed as well, so I don’t have any unfinished business. Some of my goals this year are pretty simple. I want to be able to stay on top of my classes throughout the whole semester, rather than just the beginning. I also want to finally be able to bench 225 pounds. I will be doing whatever I can to accomplish my goals, and hopefully I achieve both.

To be completely honest, nervousness does cross my mind time to time when thinking about graduation. Don’t get me wrong, I’m totally excited to start a new chapter in my life but at the same time, I just feel like I’m not ready yet. I guess I still see myself as that little kid going to elementary school. Even though I look a lot older, I don’t feel like I am. It’s weird because I still remember the first time I stepped foot in LHS. I was excited to finally be a high schooler, and now I’m just about to leave. It’s insane how fast time flies. The part I’m most looking forward to after high school is probably College. Just imagining myself living on my own and being independent is exhilarating. Even though I still feel like it’s not my time, I am certain that when the time comes, I will be ready.
